We have moved! AGAIN!!!!

John Rushing started Ocean Sails in 1980. In 1984, a merger with The Loft joined canvas maker Silvino “Chivas” Rojas and sailmaker John Rushing providing a complete service loft in Ventura Harbor. In 1988, John became sole proprietor of Loft Canvas Design, expanding into other areas of sewn products such as a contract with Boeing/Nasa for International Space Station thermal blanket prototype panels, and custom production products for tournament ski boats. December 2006 the loft moved to Santa Barbara, teaming with Wm. Paxson Sailmaking, taking on new and replacement awnings, both residential and commercial, architectural covers and prototype development of airbag systems. June 2011, with Bill Paxson retiring, required a shop move to Mission St., then in October 2012 to 117 B W. De La Guerra, and finally now, our new home at 511 E. Gutierrez St. #2
